I want to move my blackberry database from a Msde server to another. First is Msde2000, second is msdeExpress (2005).

Can i use blackberry backup for save and restore ?

Can i :

- save configuration with blackberry backup
- change database server on blackberry configuration
- restore with blackberry backup

It's ok ?

I would make sure your BES install is 100% up to date first, that way you make sure the database schema is of a version that is compatible.

Then I'd do an SQL backup and restore it to your SQL 2005 Express install, just use the BES config wizard to switch where it points, if it don't work you then have an iron clad backout plan and can switch it back again

Thank's, but it'a appear that i can't restore a msde .bak file on the sqlexpress ! I got an error...
I have instal sqlexpress on my old server but how migrate database frome the msde to sqlexpress ? (On the same server).
