BES log files - any documentation
Hi All.
Does anybody have documentation on how to analyse the BES log files, preferably offline, ie. not on the live server. I would like to copy the log files off to a remote location and analyse there. Any programs or docs welcome.

I just open them up live, never had an issue.(y)
You can copy them while live, never had an issue with that either.

I do RDP and plug away.

There is a good KB article on the different error codes that you need for reference (or take the BES Admin course as the classbook has a good section on this). I use TextPad to view and sort the logs. There is also the Resource Kit which provides a few good log tools.

BlackBerry Resource Kit (BRK) is great for analyzing BES logs.

Or just read them yourself. They can be cryptic, but testing on a single user BES or Agent is the best way to get to know what is going on.

Also programs like WinTrail allow you to watch the logs live as they get updated. Very cool.

Also interested in WinTrail product. Any link as I can't find it on Google?

I use the BRK (BlackBerry Resource Kit). The three utilities I use daily are Pending.EXE, MessageFlow.EXE, and HistoricalStats.EXE. I copy the logs from "\\server\c$\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs" and analyze them offline on my local workstation.
