I can install the service, but I cannot start it (error code 0)

So what registry information is missing? This is a net new BES I introduced in to the Blackberry domain on Saturday, but I have never used the resource kit before. I need this as a prerequisite to installing ROVE MOBILE ADMIN.

Any help is (as always) greatly appreciated.

The resource kit is not supposed to be installed on the BES server.

Is the service not required on the BES to collect information and query specific items on the BES? How would the ROVE software work if this service is not running?

You install the resource kit on a different box and it connects to the BES server. I would recommend that you download the resource kit user guide. The first thing listed under requirements is that it shouldn't be installed on the BES server.

Ok, I must had read it wrong or understood the schematics wrong, thanks for the heads up!
