Default BES - .jar and .cod - enough to load and push application to handhelds?

Please Login to Remove!

We have a BES (4.1.5.26) and a software package that needs to be installed and pushed to our handhelds.

That software came in the form of two files only... a .jar and a .cod.

From what I read and searched in the forums, I believe I need a .alx file, is that correct? (per steps described here: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/artic...AL_Public.html)

If so, am I supposed to create that .alx file using what I have, or is that .alx file supposed to come from the software vendor??

If not (and the jar and cod are enough), what procedure should I be following?

Thanks!

The .alx file should come from the vendor.

Thank you for that confirmation. I have gone back to the vendor and have since then received the missing .alx file.

Cheers
