Default BES 4.1.5 & Domino = no meeting responses?

Please Login to Remove!

We upgraded our BES to 4.1.5 a number of weeks ago.
However, last week our users have reported that when they have a meeting sometimes the acceptance or declined notice sometimes does not come through onto their Blackberry device (It's in their Lotus Notes Inbox).

Has anyone else noticed this sort of behaviour?

What version(s) of Domino are your mail server/BES running, and what client release does your user have?

The answer to this is to check if the user's acceptance or declined notice has a "Body" field. As far as I know, RIM only renders body messages with that field.

This would make sense, I think only if you request/decline with comments will it have "body"

Hmmmm, I have just tested this.

A meeting request with no comments does not have a "body" field - not even a blank one - it is just not there.

If the user replies with comments, the body field is there.

I sent a meeting request to 2 lads I work with, one replied with comments, one without.

Both showed up on my BB

We run Domino 6.5.4FP3 and Lotus Notes 6.5.4 CCH6 for the clients.

It is very strange, it doesn't seem to happen all the time. Most people saying it started in the "last week".

I dont know for sure but I would confirm that your environment is indeed supported.

BlackBerry Search Results

this tends to suggest 4.1.5 is suited for Domino V7 SP3 and above, but I would probably confirm this with an email off to RIM

Just to clarify, this don't happen to everyone, it just seems to randomly happen here or there.
