Question Update a deployed App

Please Login to Remove!

I deployed BBweather to our phones a year or so ago. It stopped working and I need to deploy the newest version. Do I need to remove it from the software config first and then add the new one. Or do I just update the files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Applications\Weather?

Wirelessly posted (Breaking Ball)

Update the application files in the Shared/Applications folder.
You can overwrite the current files for that particular app.

When the new files are in place, re-index the software configurations by using the 'loader.exe /index' command from the Apploader folder on the BES.
