Is there a way to check conversations over Yahoo IM? Our traffic is routed through the BES currently just curious if the user has been identified if there is a way to obtain the history?

Please advise.

Wirelessly posted (Breaking Ball)

There's no simple way to do it, but you could probably get what you want with a little network creativity.

If you have the time and patience to set up a packet sniffer, you might want to sniff and log packets on your MDS server. Examine traffic for port 5150 (I think that's yahoo.) and you might be able to find some useful stuff.

We used to do this with problematic employees, but I never tried sniffing the MDS server. Not sure if it is possible.
