BES 4.1.4.15

Having some issues with deletes not syncing all the time. Found the fix for turning on hard deletes but I can not find that in blackberry manager on the server. There is no messaging option under server properties. What am I missing?

In BB Manager, click on the BES in the left-hand window. Click the 'Server Configuration' tab. Click 'Edit Properties.' You will see the options for Messaging in the screen that pops up.

Thats what I am trying, these are the options I see:
IDS_SERVER_General_Group
...Email_group
...ITAdmin_Group
...Filters
...Syncserver_Group
...BESAlert_Group
...MDSAG_group

What email platform are you on?

Exchange 2007 SP1

In BB Manager:

Highlight Server
Select Server Configuration Tab
Click Edit Properties
Select Messaging
Under Messaging Options toggle the option for "Hard Deletes Reconciliation"

That is what I keep trying, these are the only options I get (no messaging):
IDS_SERVER_General_Group
...Email_group
...ITAdmin_Group

Found it finally. My manager is warped somehow. It was under IDS_Server_Email_Group > OTAFMHardDeleteEnabled
