Default BES Wireless Backup - 06-15-2008, 03:40 AM

Hi,

Automatic wireless backup

The above link from Blackberry shows options for automatic wireless backups. For PIM application it shows as Address Book options. But when i tested, the address book was not restored.

What does Address Book options mean ? Please guide what is backedup in Address book optoin.

Thanks in advance.

hi,
you wrote it already: "Address book OPTIONS": These are not the contacts.

These are just the options u can set.
- Sort by
- Allow duplicate names
- Confirm Delete

It just means that they are restored on a new BB if you EA one with users account.

Best, Guido

BES syncs the BlackBerry Address Book with your maill server the same way it does for email and calendar. The contacts are already backed up from that point of view.
