Default Renaming BES (Netbios/DNS only)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi -

I'd like to rename our netbios name on our BES. Nothing inside the actual sw just the machine name in Windows and the DNS. Is this possible?

You may be able to add an alias with no issues.

Read this KB Article - KB13618 - How to update the MDSConfig table referencing a server other then the one it should be mapped to

... I could have used this article last year one night when I was up late-o-clock with another moderator here upgrading some servers ...
