Every other week, when I look at the processes on our BES, I notice an instance of BBConvert.exe is using up 100% of CPU for x number of days. There are other bbconvert.exe instances running all at 0% CPU. The instance with the issue does not release the CPU by itself. I need to end task or reboot the server.
Any ideas? Thx in advance (Anyone have an updated version of BBConvert.exe they can email me?)

bbconvert.exe is the BlackBerry Attachment Service. Restarting this service should kill that process and re-spawn.

The only time I've seen this is with the S/MIME issue ... KB12446 - CPU increases to 100% when processing S/MIME-encrypted email messages with large attachments

You might try upgrading to 4.1 SP5 ... or if you're skiddish of that give T-Support a call.
