Hi all. I'm having a problem that's affecting users that have Blackberry handhelds. When these users receive an updated appointment it creates a duplicate in their Outlook calendar. This doesn't affect anyone who is a non-blackberry user.
We are running Exchange Server 2003 SP2, and BES Server Version 4.1.3.16. I have seen similar threads recommending checking CDO.dll versions to ensure they are the same on the exchange server and BES server, which I have already done. This hasn't helped.
If anyone has other resolutions, please let me know. All help greatly appreciated.

My only recommendation would be to upgrade to the latest version of BES & CDO.dll on both Exchange and BES servers.

There are so many potential causes for this ... are these recurring appointments? Can you identify these to only specific types of appointments?

Did you reolve this. We have the exact same problem.

I've narrowed it down to.
BB users receive an appointment in their Calendar. (They don't have to view the initial request) the meeting request is accept as Tentative.

They can select the confirmation email and select the appointment and all is OK. Just added as confirmed in their Calendars.

The problem starts when the Meeting Organiser moves the meetingThey end up with a different Updated meeting request. One mwill be tenative and the other Accepted.
If the meeting is fiurther changed it gets worse as the original accepted messge with update remains at the original location.I've not explained it well suffice to say that it is only on meeting request to Blackberry users that we have the problem and that it only appears for updated meetings

We have resolved this issue by installing Service Pack 6 for BES 4.1
