How does it work? Some people from the GAL are in my address book, but most are not. If I email someone after a lookup, will their cached credentials stay in the blackberry?

They'll stay on there until the Memory Cleaner clears out the cache.

Yes; the KB article states when the Memory Cleaner does its thing.

After you look someone up you have an option to "Add"
