Default Blackberry Messaging Agent errors in event viewer - 06-17-2008, 11:30 AM

Hi Guys,

I recently have been getting my IT crew to use the blackberry messanger. We never really used it before now. things were going good untill I went to add 2 more people into my contacts. They both added me but they are still pending. I looked on the server and saw a large number of error messages regarding the Blackberry Messaging Agent. I do not see it as a service. I am a little confused as to how to go about trying to resolve the errors. I have attached a screen cap of the errors.

The errors you see are not necessarily BBM related. I believe those are from when a message is deleted from the mailbox before it can be reconciled with the BlackBerry.

I get 'em too.

As for the pending Messenger request....

Thanks for the help Darth. It seems I can do a look up on our address book and find the PIN from their email, but I run into this issue if I try and add them directly from their email address. That does not make a whole lot of sense to me. Luckily the only people using it are in IT, so it wasn't a big deal. The people it hung up on do get a ton of email though. That may have had something to do with it.

Even though it all goes through the BES, the "ton" of mail shouldnt make a difference.
Freaky...
