Default Message Conflicts on Exchange

Please Login to Remove!

I posed about this some time ago and didn't get an answer (link here). Any new data out there that might help me resolve a conflict with my software? As far as I can tell, the Blackberry device grabs a copy of new messages off the server on receipt, changes the message (marks it delivered or read?), holds on to it for as long as it wants, then eventually replicates the changed message back to the server without checking to see if the message was updated by another process or device. The result is a message conflict and a big headache for me and for my customers. Thanks in advance for advice and assistance!

This is a client-side application making a change to a message that BES has already touched ...

The only way really around this would be to create a delay in when the BES tries to grab a message; KB00139 - Delay mail processing for an anti-virus scan ... perhaps set a delay for 60 seconds?

Default Thanks!

I didn't know this option was available. Though I think most of my customers won't have access to make this change, it's at least a likely fix for those that do. Thanks for the prompt response.
