Do you have a data signal on your device right now?
Does it say 1xev, or 1XEV on the screen?

When you open the email and look at the field called Received, it should say Desktop[Secure].

If it says Unknown then the Desktop[CMIME] service book is corrupt. Try deleting it and resending it from the BES.
