Question Delivery confirmation for roundtrip <confirm> ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

After reading some blog/white papers, I tried sending an email with the word "<confirm>" in the subject. I did get the "Blackberry Delivery Confirmation" email (and the <confirm> email was in the inbox of the handheld)

Does anyone know if it is the handheld, that sends back an actual email with the "Blackberry Delivery Confirmation" subject (or is it BES)?

The objective is to figure out if the "<confirm>" and the "Blackberry Delivery Confirmation" acknowledgement is truly round trip from the device or not. It will ensure that my blackberry device is not only able to receive emails, but also able to send emails.

Any feedback/thoughts/ideas/comments are welcome.

Thanks,
Annu

I blv...

adding the confirm syntax tells you that your message was delivered to the destination email address.

You may want to post these types of questions in the general discussion area vs. BES Admin...

Just some friendly BB advice..

Good Day Sir.
