I may have wrong but shouldn't an upgrade from 4.0.6 to 4.1.5 create the mdss and mdss_dis databases? I just noticed that my upgrade of the 4.0.6 DB didn't recreate my mdss and mdss_dis databases. Is there a way for me to add those back/recreate them? I know that when i upgraded a test system a couple of month's ago from 4.0.6 to 4.1.4 that those DB got created...

They didn't exist in BES 4.0. They wouldn't be created as a result of a 4.0 to 4.1 upgrade.

Are you going to be using MDS Services? (This is NOT the same as MDS Connection Service.)

Those databases are only used if you will be using MDS services to develop and deploy your own applications via BES.

That is good to know. Now I have to ask my team who did that MDS setup on my other BB instance. thanks penguin....
