All,

I brought up the BES Server. Below are details.

Blackberry Professional Software 4.1.4.19

MS Exchange 2003 SP2

BES installed on different Server than Exchange.

Everything was syncing up except when an entry was made in calendar on Blackberry device it didnt sync up with Outlook in Exchange.

So did few changes.
matched the cdo.dll on BES and exchange which was older on BES.
Did permissions for besadmin on Receive as, Send as, Administer Information Store.

and then rebooted the server.

Now the email and calendar started working fine. But contacts, tasks and memos are not synchronizing at all.

Any ideas what I am missing here.

Are you able to make entries on both?

Did any of the contacts / tasks / memos make it to the device during initial enterprise activation?

First, try restarting the BlackBerry Synchronization Service
Second, try deleting the Desktop[SYNC] service book from the HH, and then resending service books from the server.

Is there anything in the ALRT or CTRL log file on the BES that looks abnormal / confusing to you?
