Default Sametime upgraded and now BB won't connect - 07-21-2008, 05:20 AM

We were quite happily connecting to our ST v7.5 server using the RIM client, no changes needed to anything except adding the BES to the trusted IP list on the ST server. Sametime Domino at the time was v7.0.2

After a failed upgrade from ST v7.5 to ST v8 we decided to wipe the ST box and start again.

It's now Domino v8.0.1 and Sametime v8, the BBs that quite happily connected before now just sit at connecting. I have added the BES to the trusted IP list and restarted the ST box.

BES is 4.1.4 (Bundle 24) on Domino 7.0.2

Was going to try the IBM client but can't find the download at the moment. Doubt that's the issue anyway.

BES, Small Business Edition 4.1.4 (Bundle 24)
Domino v7.0.2
Windows Server 2003, standalone

Any special errors from the BBIM log? An excerpt will be good start for troubleshooting.

OK, was about to get our Domino Admin to login in so I could pull the relevant log entry, and he has just successfully connected so the problem has gone away. He has admitted to doing an update on the LDAP schema since yesterday so we are assuming that has fixed it.
