Default How to increase number of emails stored on Blackberry itself? - 07-21-2008, 12:44 PM

Hi,

I am new to the BES world. I was wondering if there is a way to increase the number of emails stored on the blackberry itself. Does increasing the amount of memory (microSD) allow you to store more emails?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The only option is on the handheld itself. there is no server side setting that you can set for this. on the HH go to message list > options > message options > Keep messages > forever.

The HH will not store any messages on the micro SD card tho...

How many emails are you looking to have on there? We have users with nearly 10,000 messages and their device memory isn't even close to filling up.

Do you know the exact menus to go through for a BB Pearl 8130 to set the keep messages to forever?
