Default Purchasing BES - 07-22-2008, 01:42 AM

Hi All,
I'm looking to trial a BES in our environment. We currently have 5 blackberry users and may be expanding to 35 by the end of the year. I'm trying to find the best deal on the BES and all i keep getting from our telco is packaged options.
Any reply is welcomed!

I've decided to trial the Blackberry Professional Server and see how that goes. Assuming it goes successfully i would be looking for the best prices on BPS not BES!
Not sure i understood you RaGe?

Hi systemnova

This forum is mainly inhabited by BESadmins like you (well you will be once you've got it up and running) and it's unlikely you will find someone who will give you a direct quote for a BES or CALS, especially as given a carrier of Optus you are probably down under.

I guess RaGe is French and is suggesting he could supply BES in France but not outside.

Best bet would be to call Optus' business sales team and see what kind of deals they can sort you out with..

Enjoy and welcome to BBforums

Maybe, check out a company called z e z e l d o t c o m
I bought 2 times from them, and they had reasonable pricing.

Otherwise I also recommend first trying out the BPS - which is nearly free.
you still can upgrade to any other server version you like later with a minimum amount of trouble.
Why spend money today for thing you do not need at the moment ?
