Default How to Install BES updates - 07-22-2008, 09:31 AM

So I have a BES server with version 4.0.2.8 and I want to update it to the latest releases. Do I have to install service pack 3,4,5,6 and then 7 or can I just skip right to service pack 7?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You can install SP7 straight away.
It contains the fixes from the previous service packs.

As a side note... you probably want to consider going to 4.1 now.
BES 4.0 is end of life and is no longer supported by RIM.

Do you know how much BES 4.1 costs?

It's free if you have an active T-Support maintenance agree with RIM.
Otherwise it's about $3000.

Do you know if Service pack 7 allows for meeting requests to get sent to the hand held devices?
