Unhappy Latest and greatest upgrades break two BES accounts on one Blackberry setup

Please Login to Remove!

For a long time now, I have been using the unsupported setup of two BES accounts on one Blackberry.

Since upgrading the Blackberry OS to 4.5, both BESs to 4.1.6 and Desktop Manager to 4.5, I have not been able to setup two BES accounts on one Blackberry. Every time I sync the Blackberry to the other profile, it replaces instead of appends the new service books. The only service book that sticks around is the Browser Config. I think I have possibly narrowed down the problem to BES 4.1.6 as I have already tried downgrading the device OS and Device Manager.

One thing that I have noticed is that now the IT policy will get overwritten easily. Before, the policy had to be replaced with a "blank" policy. I think Desktop Manager 4.5 is doing it because I think I noticed this was happening even with BES 4.1.5. I assume this is one of the problems as the last sync will fully activate the Blackberry on the new BES. However, it doesn't explain to me why the service books are replaced instead of appended.

Has anybody else experienced this? This is just driving me apeshit. Thanks.
