Dumb question probably, but I'd like an answer just the same and not try to guess at it:
We want to upgrade to SP6 from 4.1.4. We have Tx1 Support. Logging into Support site I go to where it says "Software Download for BlackBerry Technical Support Services Subscribers", select 4.1 version and click on SP6. I download a 310MB file.
However, I noticed that if INSTEAD if click on the LEFT side of the Web page (Downloads) and follow and IDENTICAL process, the file I download, although th SAME size, has a different name and a DOS FileCmpare (FC command) shows differences.
Which is right?!?

I think you should be safe with both of the files. Just make sure to backup your DB before you upgrade your server.
