We have a new Exchange 2007 environment with BES 4.1.6. I had to perform maintenance on one of the mailbox information stores. Users were moved from store 1 to store 2. Once maintenance was finished users were moved back to store 1. After the users were moved back messages can be read or deleted in Outlook but do not reconcile on there BB device. But if you read or delete messages on your BB it shows read or deleted in Outlook. The strange thing is anyone in the other information stores are reconciling fine. Its just the users that were moved. Here's what I've done so far;

1. Removed user from BES and wiped handheld, then try reactivating.
2. Deleted Service Books annd resent them
3. Moved user to different info store (still not working)
4. Assigned a static agent
5. Ran handheldcleanup

Also Calendar and Contacts for the users that were moved works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem. Moved users to new server in my case, but same results... everything works EXCEPT reconciling read status.

I don't know if this could be of any help but I once had a problem much like this.
I switched off caching of mailbox in outlook. Restarted outlook, problem was gone.
(Exchange problem)
