Unhappy PDFs will not disable!

Please Login to Remove!

As per thread Vulnerability Notice - PDF distiller of the BlackBerry Attachment Service for the BES

I looked at the RIM doc BlackBerry Search Results and decided to disable PDFs until I can bring BES down for an upgrade.

I followed the steps exactly - and triple checked very carefully. I have restarted the attachment service, restarted BES... and it still served PDF attachments to handhelds. You can retrieve the entire documents.

Anyone had this issue? Or have any ideas how to troubleshoot?

Testing this now for you. Will have the results in a few hours, but if it's urgent jump on the phone to your carrier or whatever tech support you have. IT's bound to be very simply, but you seem to have done the right thing.

Cool PDF's

Are you opening previously opened pdfs or new ones?

You should no longer see the paperclip icon for new pdf attachments if you've set it up correctly. Exisiting pdf's that have previously been opened will still open though.
