ok needed my MAPI profile, lol

Weird that I am not listed as anything in roles but I can create and delete users.
was able to make server changes too.
made and deleted groups.

thought I would need a role to do this.

i added a role for a user and would not work.
Added it on the BES and it did work, now I am thinking......

Must be I have database access when I backed up the DB for the last upgrade but it does not show up in the roles.

If I add my self to the admin security will it break this, not really needed but curious.
So I can do the usual stuff just not create roles is enough for me. Hope this helps someone else when they try it.

If it's anything like me its a cost issue on the mobile side. I don't have a company supplied mobile, so a company berry is even less likely.

Quite sad, given that you have to support these things almost 24/7, that they can't stump up the cash to buy you one. How tight do you have to be?! I've got 2, soon to be 3 when the Bold is released. I consider it essential to being able to do my job properly, and putting that to my manager was all that was needed.

I agree with you. My boss is stingy and cant see why spending 500 per year would really help if I can remote in with a laptop.

Remote in from where? Your home?
Who pays for your Internet connectivity when you're not in the office?

(Sorry for adding to the off-topicness of this thread.... just don't want to see you selling yourself short.)
