Default LDAP setup

I'm trying to configure by BES to connect to LDAP. We are using a GC and it's SSL so I configured it to go over port 3269. however, in the logs, it says...

{0x1B78} LDAP: SSL is not enabled - unable to use SSL

LDAPssl is set to 1.

I've tried using all the dif ports that they might use in my environment (389, 636, 3268 and 3269) but to no avail. does anyone know more about it? why does the documentation on RIMs site say to put the domain as FQDN:port and then tell you to create another key for the port. are these 2 different ports?

can anyone shed any light for me

thanks.

Hmmm,
I dunno. We use LDAP so we can query our GC, but don't use SSL. Many people here probably don't either.
