I was going to ask you who your carrier was. I don't deal much with your carrier and only have a few users on your carrier on our BES. So your issue was a sim card issue. Most of our Nextel uses are using the 7520 or newer 7100.
Most of our users are on AT&T. AT&T has texting is an option and you have to add it to the plan in order for users to be able to text... However, I am not sure how this plays with the native capability of the BB handheld and BES. Texting usually does not work unless it is added. Those users who call us saying they cannot text usually do not have texting added on their plans when we call AT&T and we have to add this. (Texting has to be added in addition to usual Unlimited Data Plan, Voice and nights and weekends)
Thanks for the update...
