Hello Guys, Does anyone know whether its possible to setup field mapping on a global level (can apply to all users on BES)? Half of my user's use Nextel and have PTT numbers that have no field to save to in Lotus notes. This means eveytime i wipe and reset a user all my nextel user's loose all PTT info. If theres a way to fix this without going to their individual computers usual the desktop manager I would be very interested.
You can use the "Edit PIM Sync Global Field Mapping" option. Map the Device Field "DCIC" to one of the Desktop Field. Of course there's no Lotus Notes field for the Nextel DC so you will have to pick from what's there.
OK it looks like this is what I was refering to. Thanks for making me aware of this. I am confused how to get this to work for PTT numbers. When i select a Nextel user, then go to Service Control and Customization and then select Edit Field mapping I don't see PTT as an option. Is there another step necessary or something i'm missing. I see a User defined one but how will the user define this?
