Default Wireless Enterprise Activation

Please Login to Remove!

I got up and running a BlackBerry Enterprise Server with MDS Services 4.1.3.

His IMAP setting are up and running on the companies Email Server which is not Exchange but ussing Zimbra. The activation mail is sended correctly whit the ETP.DAT file attached, but then BES doesn't look on the email account for the new confirmation mail and finish the activation

Any idea why this is? I was wondering if Exchange do sends a mail to BES about the new mail or something like this, but then again, i'm pretty sure our email application do something similar.

Thanks in advance for the help

BES is proprietary to Exchange, Domino and Groupwise. It doesn't support any mail server running IMAP.

Yah the Exchange does not send an email but a UDP packet over MAPI to tell the BES that the user has a new item and then the BES will pick up the etp.dat message.

Zimbra is not supported platform.

Thanks for the response. Seems like will be only cable activation for us then, as we don't want to install Exchange just for this

Thanks a lot for the help
