Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I would like to create an over the air installation of the new OCS package. I'm having some difficulty locating any documentation for this. Can someone help me out?

It should be the same as every other software configuartion... As long as you have the alx and cod files then you should be able to create the software confiuration.

I created a video on how to create a software configuration with BES 4.1.4 with google maps but it should be the same for any software package as long as the alx and cod files are put into the proper folder:
How to create a Software Configuration_demo

This is really good, thanks. I have run into a problem. The OCS2007 OTA zip file does not contain an ALX file. So the package does not seem to be loading properly. Can you please take a look at the zip file at the RIM site and give me your thoughts?

Thanks

Dont use the OTA version from RIM download the desktop version. It will have the ALX file and cod files.

Code:
<loader version="1.0">
<application id="net.rim.device.apps.internal.qm.oc2007" series="~SmartCardReader">

    <directory _appsVersion="[4.1.0,4.2.0)">For_4.1.0</directory>
    <directory _appsVersion="[4.2.0,4.6.0)">For_4.2.0</directory>
    <directory _appsVersion="[4.6.0,5.1.0)">For_4.6.0</directory>

	<fileset SystemSize="normal" Colour="True" Java="1.0">

	</fileset>

</application>
</loader>

I'm having a problem with the desktop version. After I unzip it to the applications folder and run the Index command the two files are created. When I try to add a new config it loads the app but I have no options in the property sheet i.e. I When I expand Application configuration there is nothing below it; there are Wireless options. I tried pushing it to a user but nothing happened. I'm not too sure what is going wrong.
