Question BESUserAdmin service on BES?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I am a bit confused: In the 4.1 Resource Kit, the documentation says "You can install the BESUserAdminService on the computer on which the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is running". However in the 4.1.5 there is the exact opposite phrase in the documentation "Do not run BES Administration Tool on the same computer as the BES runs."
Does anybody know if this is really true and what is behind this recommendation?

If it is possible to install the BESUserAdmin service on the BES, is there still need for the Notes Client?

Thanks and greetings,
Neo3000

Default

Got both BESUserAdmin and Notes client installed on my BES. BESUserAdmin running all the time; Notes client only when I need it. No problems.
