Default Groupwise help needed

Please Login to Remove!

I use Groupwise at work, but my employer does not support Blackberry and needless to say doesn't have BES. Is there anyway for me to get groupwise and groupwise messenger pushed to my phone another way? I'm wanting to see if i can just figure out how to make it work myself once i have it on my phone.

thanks,

David

With no BES you can use BIS to check your GW account as long as your organization allows IMAP. Set that up under 'email settings' on your device or contact your wireless provider.

For the enterprise messenger hit google and search for blackberry groupwise enterprise messenger. I'd link it but my post count is apparently not sufficient. :>(

You'll need the IP of your IM server.

As per the response, aslong as IMAP is available from the www use BIS. As for Messenger, as the name implies Enterprise Messenger, it will require BES to facilitate messaging as there is a Collaboration Service that intagrates between BES and the Groupwise Messenger server. The same applies to windows lca/ocs and domino sametime.
