So I've got 4.1.6 installed.. I've resent myself the service book..

When I try and connect, it says Cannot connect to server.

I've tried putting in my internal and external OCS name..neither work.. any ideas?

What is the version number of the OCS client on your device?
Have you configured your OCS server properly for CWA (Communicator Web Access)?
What do the BBIM logs indicate on your BES?

You haven't really provided enough information to get a useful response.

The client version is the only 2007 version that RIM is providing on it's site. Looks to be 2.1.10

I'll check into the CWA.. as it is right now, we've got OC on desktop PC's and on Windows Mobile devices working fine..

As for the BBIM logs, I'm getting this message,

"Cannot contact CWA server at https://myservername.blah.lan:5061/forms/logon.html"

Which I imagine could be the problem. I can ping that server on the BES, and I dont see any blocks on the FW..

Are you running your CWA service on port 5061?
Can you connect to CWA from a normal PC using Internet Explorer.
If so, what's the URL and port number you're using?

Yes, CWA is running on port 5061..

I cannot get to that page from a normal PC, on VPN and off.. I can ping both the internal and external IP's on the VPN and on the BES.

We've tried a combo of both internal/external on the CWA settings, and still getting that same message.

Are you sure you have CWA installed on the OCS server?
You can definitely log into to CWA using nothing but a Web Browser on a PC?

CWA is not the same as OCS.
CWA is 'Communicator Web Access'. It's an optional feature of OCS 2007, and gets installed separately into IIS.

Yes, CWA is absolutely required for BlackBerry Collaboration Services.

That's strange that it's required for the Blackberry's and not for the WinMo devices..

Welp, looks like I'll need to get CWA installed.

Thx for your help.
