Default User part of Administrators Group not working

Please Login to Remove!

We have been using BES on a SBS2003 server for the past year with 10 Blackberry users without a problem.

We recently installed a new server (Win 2003 x64) and migrated Exchange to 2007 on the new server. For now, we have left the BES Admin app on the SBS2003. All accounts have been working correctly.

Last night, we restarted the servers for the first time since the install of the new server. All users are receiving emails on their Blackberry except for one user. I belive the problem is that the one user (ME!) is part of the administrators group.

Any thought on what might be causing this problem?

Thanks.

The problem is that you are part of the administrators group.
You shouldn't be.
Remove yourself from that group. It's unsafe for you to be running with elevated rights full-time anyway.
Create an alternate login for yourself and give that alternate user the elevated rights and only log in as that user when necessary.

You should follow the principle of least privilege.

If I have read this correctly you cannot receive mail. That's different than the Send As issue, unless MS is really screwing with us and gave us a Receive As issue

If this the case, check the MAGT log for your email address/username. You will find some entries in there that should reference log on failures or something.

If you can receive but not send then follow Penguins advice and take yourself out of the admins group. That is the best solution to fix this.

Thanks for the replies.

The problem turned out to be with my phone, nothing to do with BES.
