Default E-mail Compression

Two questions if anyone could suggest a possible fix.
Running Bes 4.1.3 MR3

1) when doing an enterprise activation, all previous emails are coming across compressed. When going into the e-mail it shows only the headers and none of the content with more all on each and every old email.

2) Is there anyway to have all emails in the sub folder to also be visible. Have rules set-up to send e-mails to subfolders. The folders are all visible in Folder view but all show with no emails in there is there a fix for this.

Thanks in advance.

1) There is a BES setting for this. You are currently using the default setting which only sends message headers for pre-populated messages.
See here for changing pre-population settings:
How do I adjust message pre-population? - BlackBerryFAQ

2) I'm not sure if you can pre-populate other folders. I think it's inbox only. I'll have to do some testing on this one.

Wirelessly posted

It will prepopulate all folders selected for redirection. But only until it hits the limit configured within the bes. Also remember with 4.1.6 and 4.5 hh code you can do a remote search and find any emails within your mailbox.

Thank you so much
Just tested the Headers only and confirm all is working fine on that now.

Have tried to do an activation using DM and choosing all subfolders for redirection as opposed to just the inbox and it still does not populate the rest of the subfolders.

will look into 4.1.6 search.

Thanks again.
