Default DG encrypted with wrong key

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all -
I'm kind of new with the BlackBerry Enterprise server, but I have a user who has been receiving his e-mails hit-or-miss since I activated him. I was just tracing his messages through the log files, and I noticed that linked to the ones he was missing, I found "DG encrypted with wrong key" in the DISP log. I'm guessing that he may be missing an encryption key from the server? Does anybody know how to resolve something like that?

Thanks,
Justin

Welcome to BBF!

The user can update his encryption key from the BB. Just have him go to Options> Security options> General> then scroll down to the bottom where it says Desktop and click the trackwheel/menu key and there should be an option to Regenerate Encryption key.

He could try that. If that fails, remove/readd and reactivate.

Also, what version of BES/Mail platform & version/how many users?

Thanks! I'll have him try that. We're running BES 4.1.6 on Exchange 2000. 18 users at the moment.
