Emergency contacts list question
 

I have been trying to get the ECL working and can't see to get it right.

I am running the lastest revision of the BES and we are using Exchange here as well.

I have a PC that is running the BB Manager software and is connected to the BES. I also have BES admin access.

I have loaded the ECLGUI on this pc and am just using the default XLS as the ECL Excel file.

I am also using the custom catcher and have loaded the software onto my AT&T 8820 successfully.

As for the ECLGUI the settings are as follows:

User info file - pointed to the user.txt file.I have added my email address and it looks like this:
localhost 8080 2100000a

my email address here.com


Push to - custom catcher

Source Excel

Worksheet name contacts

I guess I am confused about the user.txt. I don't know how it should be configured. Does anyone have an example they can share?

Bump. No one knows about this?????

Change "2100000a" in "localhost 8080 2100000a" to a valid PIN number or email address. I'm testing the ECL deployment too, and that's worked for me. According to the documentation, 2100000a is supposed to push to the simulator.
