Is this possible? To block SMS texting from a specific number? Don't want to block sms entirely but from one # (or more).

Not at the BES level, but your carrier might be able to do that. I know Sprint can block from a specific number.

With the 4.5 OS you can adjust your firewall settings to limit who can SMS/MMS you. This can be enable for just those in your contact list for example. Beyond that, if you are on BES, you can restrict individual number(s) or if you are not on BES, your carrier may have to make that change if you wish to restrict individual number(s.)

Ah, I have BES 4.1.4. Maybe that's new with 4.1.5?

After further checking, I believe I misspoke. I have successfully filtered phone calls from a specific number on BES, not SMS messages.

FYI - For phone call restrictions, modify Firewall Policy Group/Restrict Incoming Cellular Calls. My experience has shown the caller will still be sent to voice mail, but the device will not ring.

Hmmmm....I don't see a Firewall Policy Group on 4.1.4. Bummer. That could come in handy. One more reason to upgrade.
