Question Email Timestamp on BB 7100t

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I'm running a Lotus BES with 20 users and I have a few users that don't get coverage in their offices, so they download their mail a few times a day when stepping out of the office.
the problem is now that all email are timestamped with the time the device receives them, not the time they were sent, this is pretty confusing...can this behaviour be changed?

(yes, I'm pretty new to this whole BB BES thing....)
thanks
Hanni

The mail in the mailbox has the time it was received on the BlackBerry, when you open the mail you see in the header (scroll up - or press T) the sent time.

but to answer, no. it will always show the time it was received by the handheld within the inbox/messages list.

Yeah, I found the actual email time it was sent in the header, but I was asked about the timestamp in the message...and that can't be changed? bummer....
thanks though....

Unfortunately no. I have users that complain about that as well. But I figure if that is there biggest complaint then everything else must be going well.

good point...and I agree...some users have a hard time adjusting to something that's different that what they've seen before...

thanks
