Default cannot add NEW users to BES, but can add existing members of AD

Please Login to Remove!

Hello. Has anyone had issues when adding NEWLY created AD accounts to the BES? In particular, we are able to add EXISTING AD accounts to the BES, but we cannot add NEW users. We currently have v4.

I assume, you are running exchange?

How NEW are these AD accounts? It may take some time to filter down

The accounts were created over an hour ago. All were available in the GAL after approximately 10 minutes which leads me to believe that they should be available on the BES. We are thinking that we need to compare the AD attributes of a NEW account versus an EXISTING account to see if there was some change on the AD side that would cause an issue....

these users being added to the same Exchange server as the existing AD users?

Does your BesAdmin mail account has the rights on the new created mailboxes? Did you test the new accounts with the IEMSTest.exe tool (in the Tools directory of your BES Software). It creates and removes a hidden test folder in the mailbox.
