Default Wireless sync

My question revolves around the wireless synch option. Before when user would attach the BB to their computer they would not recieve mails on their blackberry. Now they get everything when they are connected. To my knowledge nothing has change. Any ideas?

BlackBerry Desktop Manager, Redirector Settings, General, Redirector Section - uncheck box for Message Redirection while your handheld is connected. Check the box to disable.

I have checked the disable email redirection, however I am still getting emails on the BB. Would this be due to the fact that I am using wireless reconciliation.

It is my understanding that if you are using wireless reconciliation then if you plug your device into a PC via USB and that computer is on the network it will then route the messages through a wired delivery method. I think there may be some option on the BES to change that but I have never really looked. I think on wireless sync the desktop options are overruled by the BES options. Don't take my word for that until a few others may be able to verify. Hope this helps.

The settings on the BES will override the desktop settings on wireless synch - you can check these settings on BES by opening Edit Properties - Redirection - Message Forwarding. Do not redirect when in cradle = false will send messages to the handheld whether it is cradled or not.
