Default Creating a new BES user

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I can't create a BES account because the Groupwise 6.5 address book doesn't come up for me, to do a search for the new user. Will restarting the Groupwise server fix this. Just recently installed BES for Novell Groupwise 4.0 Service pack 2 and Hotfix2.

Any ideas..

Thanks

Have you setup BES as a trusted application to the groupwise system?

FWIW, RIM changed the way SP2 handled this. In SP1, my GW address book would open automatically, in SP2, you now have to search for the user and then add them when it finds them. Tech Support told me this was changed because it was taking a long time for large address books to display. This might not be your problem, but it scared me the first time I noticed the difference.

It sure is unsettling - I thought I broke it too ;)
enter a % symbol and the search will return the entire address book if you need to do so, otherwise search on any part of the name for a list of matches, then add user from there
