Post Replace a defective handheld

Please Login to Remove!

What is the best procedure to replace a defective handheld after the new one arrives. Should I Kill the old handheld and then assign that user to the new handheld - or is there a way to just modify the PIN?

BES4.01 Server

Not sure of the handheld model - but fairly new (3 Months). May include the phone.

Thanks for your assistance.

If the bad handheld can still receive information I send it the kill code, and then just set up the new one and it removed the old PIN automatically.
