You are entirely correct BBTechGuy about the directory.

O2 had a look at the logs for me and they could not find the device trying to contact the BES server.

Spoke to T-Mobile in the US again with our IT director in the US and it appears that the problem lied with the SIM card. The SIM card was replaced and activation was successful. What a pain to get this resolved considering the first time T-Mobile said it was a problem with the BES. Eventually they advised that upgrading the software on the handheld to version 4 may lead to incompatibility with the SIM.

Cheers for suggestions tho

I'll just second yohan's post. We also had to get a SIM replaced for this to start working.

Hi Guys,
I'm having an absolute pain of a time getting our BES to work. The above quote is pretty much our situation.

I try to activate the blackberry remotely and receive the email from ***.ap.blackberry.net in my inbox, yet BES doesn't seem to be looking in my inbox. The user has been added in BES, and I've tried removing and re-adding.

Thanks guys

Without viewing your Agent logs I'm afraid I couldn't be of much help.
