Our new CFO came to me with his blackberry that he's been using at another company, full of contacts, and wanted to be synced with our BES. In the past, every blackberry that I've ever set up has been new from the box, with nothing on it. I'm a little apprehensive about doing the activation, and since everything is over a wireless sync... the unit syncing with his empty outlook contacts, and wiping everything out.
I know I can back up the unit, then do the activation, and restore contacts if need be, but he's not around so it's going to delay the activation further. Can anyone tell me if the contacts would be purged? Or would it be visa versa and all the contacts from the unit, get added to his outlook personal contacts file?
