Default meeting invites not showing in outlook?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

I am working with BES 4.1.6.15 and when I get a meeting invite from someone I receive it on my blackberry but it does not show up in my outlook. I am able to send an invite from my bb and outlook but when someone invites me to a meeting it only shows up in my BB..

any ideas?

Any rules in Outlook? Delegate?

You might be auto-processing meeting invites check under

tools / options / calendar options / resource scheduling

On the same note, ensure you aren't doing anything to the message as it arrives. If you have any third party apps which might be changing it or anything similar, disable them and check.

You could also use OWA to see if it on the server fine and therefore outlook is the only thing at fault (quite possible). Are you in cached mode?

not sure what you mean about doing anything with the message.. when I receive the invite I accept and then press send response.

I went on my OWA account and it is not showing up there either.

Sorry I mean having any apps or rules do anything to it on the PC but I guess you aren't. But you just said "send response" is that from outlook or the BB as i thought it wasn't hitting outlook?

Don't suppose you have a delagate do you?

I press send response from my BB not from Outlook.

My delegate is completely empty.

It is odd, and it is not only me, I tested the invite on a co-worker and he is not receiving it in his outlook either.

Ah so multiple users are not getting meeting invites coming into outlook? If that's true then you need to head to an Exchange forum asap coz tbh I have never heard of that before and it doesn't sound good. Sorry man.

OK I think I understand what is going on.. I am getting an invite send to my Blackberry account email not but exchange work email. I was thinking that it would replicate what shows ups in my BB calendar no matter what email it wass sent too.. is it possible for all of appointments to show up even if it was not sent to my work email, kinda like replicate my bb calender.... understand what I am saying?

TBH I don't really but if you are saying you are talking about two different accounts, there's you problem. Maybe you can provide more info but if your outlook and your BB are working against two different email accounts, the data will be different.

Your BB is activated against 1 Exchange/AD user and it will be that mailbox's data which goes to the BB. You can use BIS to do funky things with internet mail but the BB as an enterprise device will show you the contents of a single Exchange user's mbx.
