it's a manual process to go through and remove the accounts we know are no longer active on Exchange.

What i usually do is reboot the BES and then check the logs in like an hour.
If you see the error "User not started" then these could be disabled or deleted users on the Exchagne Server.
NOTE: It could also be a permissions issue or a communication problem with Exchange. Document below will touch on that also.
Another error that you might see if the users are gone off of Exchange is 8004011d. This might also be a false positive so ALWAYS check the exchange account before deleting the account off of the BES
